Common Problems

Fungal Nails

Fungal toenails can be difficult to self-diagnose at times. Fungus may be identifiable by white spots on the surface of the toenails or yellow/brown tracks at the end of the nail, with or without thickening and/or crumbling of the toenail.

Clear your toenail fungus using Toe Fx!

ClearToe Light Therapy is Health Canada approved for completely safe and effective clearance of toenail fungus.

Corns / Calluses

Calluses are hard, thick areas of the skin that develop due to repeated rubbing or pressure over a long period of time. They usually develop on the soles of your feet, especially the heels and balls of your foot. Corns have a round centre and can be surrounded by inflamed skin. They can be found on weight-bearing areas, the tops of your toes or in between your toes. Corns can be painful when pressed. Corns and calluses can return after removal if rubbing and pressure continues.

Ingrown Nails

Ingrown toenails can become inflamed, infected and very painful. Timely and appropriate treatment is important to prevent them from getting worse.

Offering Onyfix

The Onyfix nail correction system is a versatile, innovative product for the pain-free treatment of pincer and ingrown nails. The Onyfix nail correction system can be used to treat almost all types of pincer or deformed nails. The nail correction system uses a hardened composite that is applied to the nail. The pincer or ingrown nail will be shaped into a natural nail shape through normal growth in a tension and pain-free process.

Onyfix

How It Works

The hardened correction system ensures that the growing nail stays the same shape as it grows from the proximal end of the nail, with the result that over time the pincer or ingrown part of the nail is “twisted out” of the nail folds. The process will usually require up to three applications during the treatment. Please contact the office for prices for this service.
